The Girls' Combi Pool Classic is probably my favorite contest of the year. I have the most fun at this contest than any other. Most of these girls I have skated with at the combi and have seen go from cute little groms into ripping young ladies.

For those who don't know, the Combi Pool Classic is an all-girl bowl event at the famous combi pool at the Vans Skatepark in Orange County, California. The pool is a replica from the old Upland Skatepark. The replica is much more friendly to ride, but still can be very humbling.

Girls ranging in age from 8-46 come out from all over the world to get in on the action. Thank you to Steve and Kristy Van Doren for supporting this event, and to all the sponsors who make it possible. And a big thank you to all the pros who come out to support, Gray, Grosso, Ngoho, Hosoi, Hendrix, and Caballero to name a few.
